1925 Penny Doubled die
The 1925 Wheat cents with doubling are collectible but scarce. The most popular doubled die error looks like an extra eyelid above the President’s eye. Unfortunately, it is usually insignificant in this set.
You can get about $50 for such a piece. However, one 1925 red-brown Wheat penny from San Francisco fetched $1,150 to its owner in January 2023.
1925 Penny Off-center
Collectors like this kind of error with the missing design part. The most popular are imperfect coins with the off-center in a size range from 40% to 60%.
Their value depends on missing parts expressed as a percentage and visibility of the date. You can get $5 to $10 for a minor off-center penny error to a few hundred dollars for a specimen without 50% of the design but with the existing date.

Wheat pennies are the first coins the US Mint ever released with the depicted President’s image. Two wheat ears on the reverse show the elegance of early American coinage, making these pennies highly collectible.
The obverse of the 1925 penny
The 1925 Wheat penny belongs to the first penny series, with the obverse showing a genuine person. You can see Lincoln’s image surrounded by words IN * GOD * WE * TRUST placed above his head.
The DATE is placed in front of the President’s chest, while the mint mark is right below it. Finally, there is the word LIBERTY positioned behind the bust.
The reverse of the 1925 penny
